Mcap of 8 of top-10 most valued firms erodes by Rs 1.66 lakh cr; Reliance, LIC biggest laggards

The combined market valuation of eight out of ten top firms fell by Rs 1,66,954.07 crore last week, with Reliance Industries and Life Insurance Corporation suffering the most. Alongside a 1.57% drop in BSE benchmark, major firms like State Bank of India, Infosys, and Tata Consultancy Services also saw significant declines in their market capitalizations.
