Bank of India's Alok Misra is new IBA chairman

The Indian Banks Association on Monday said Bank of India chairman and managing director Mr Alok Misra has been elected as the chairman of the bankers body for the current fiscal.

The IBA managing committee elected Mr Misra at its AGM held last Satruday.

The heads of Punjab National Bank Mr KR Kamath, Mr JP Dua of Allahabad Bank and Ms Chanda Kochhar of ICICI Bank have been elected as deputy chairmen, while Mr Pratip Chaudhuri of SBI is the honorary secretary of the association for 2012-13.
