Corporation Bank has inaugurated Corp Excel – e-lobbies - at four of its branches in Pune and plans on adding two more in the city.
Inaugurated today by the bank’s CMD, SR Bansal, the branches are at Nigdi Dapodi, Vimannagar and Pimple Saudagar and will shortly add them at Pune Camp and Aundh branches as well.
The initiative comes under the business process re-engineering exercise Project Sankalp. It currently has 78 such e-lobbies in India. Corporation Bank proposes to open 200 such branches by Dec 2015.
The 24x7 e-lobby has self service automation kiosks where customers can deposit cash or cheques update pass books and withdraw cash at their convenience.
