Sensex ends 232 points higher; Nifty above 10,850

Bharti Airtel, Axis Bank, ITC, Tata Motors, HDFC and IndusInd Bank were among the major gainers with their stocks rising as much as 3.39 per cent on BSE. On the NSE platform, sub-indices Nifty FMCG, Financial Service and Private Bank tracked major gains, up as much as 1.01 per cent.
