New ED for Indian Bank

Mr B. Raj Kumar has been appointed by Government of India as Executive Director of Indian Bank with effect from January 1, 2012. He assumed charge on January 1 at the Dharavi branch of the Bank's Mumbai Zone.

Prior to this assignment, he was the General Manager of Andhra Bank, heading the Investments and International Banking Division at Mumbai. He was also General Manager of the Hyderabad and New Delhi Zones of the Bank and has served in various parts of the country.

Mr Raj Kumar has replaced Mr V. RamaGopal, Executive Director, who retired on December 31, 2011, says a press release from Indian Bank.
